Using Coloring Parade

By using Coloring Parade you agree to these terms. You need to be 18 or older to create an account. Children are welcome to use the site with a parent, caregiver or teacher.

Free library pages

Pages in our free library are free to print for home and classroom use, as many times as you like. Please don’t sell them, or share the files on other websites or apps.

Pages you make

Pages you make with our tools are yours to use. Pages made on the Free and Basic plans, or with credit packs alone, are for personal and classroom use. The Plus and Pro plans include commercial use, so you can sell printed pages and books, including on Amazon KDP and Etsy. Commercial use covers the pages you make while you’re on Plus or Pro.

How AI pages are made

AI pages are drawn by image models from other companies. We use GPT Image 2.5 (Flare and Sunburst) by OpenAI, through the official OpenAI API and Grok Imagine Image 2.0 by xAI, through the official xAI API. Your prompt, your photo if you use Photo to Coloring Page, the name, background and age you type for a name or birthday page, or the word and background you type for a graffiti page, is sent to one of these models to draw your page. If one model is busy, we try the next. Story book outlines are written by text models: GPT-6 Luna by OpenAI, through the official OpenAI API and Grok 4.20 by xAI, through the official xAI API. Your story idea is sent to one of them to write the characters and chapters, and every page of the book is drawn from that outline after you’ve had the chance to change it. We don’t use your prompts, stories or photos to train AI models.

Acceptable use policy

  • These rules apply to everything you make or upload: prompts, story ideas and outlines, names, words, photos, pages, gallery posts, comments and nicknames. You may not use Coloring Parade to make or share:
  • Anything that puts children at risk. We have zero tolerance. This includes any sexual or sexualized content involving minors, content that shows children being harmed or abused, and content that grooms or targets a child.
  • Deepfakes and impersonation: pages made to pass as a real person, or to make a real person seem to say or do something they didn’t, without their consent.
  • Non-consensual intimate content: nude, sexual or intimate images of any real person, made from their photo or their name.
  • Sexual, violent, hateful or frightening content, including content that attacks people for their race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
  • Content that breaks the law, or encourages self-harm, terrorism or other illegal acts.
  • Characters, logos or artwork you don’t have the rights to use.
  • Pages from photos you don’t have the right to use, including photos of other people or other people’s children without permission.
  • You also may not try to get around our safety checks, for example by rewording a blocked prompt, or use bots or many accounts to get more free pages.

How we check content

  • Every prompt, name and photo first goes through the AI model’s own safety filter. Prompts are also wrapped in our instructions to draw a child-friendly coloring page. If a page is blocked, we don’t try another model, and the page doesn’t use a credit or a free page.
  • Before we draw a page from a prompt, a name or a word, the text is also checked by the content-safety service of Waffo, our payment partner. We only draw it if the check passes. Some prompts are held for a closer look by Waffo’s review team, usually for about an hour, and our team can turn them down too. If a held prompt is approved, the page appears in My pages. If it isn’t, it doesn’t use a credit or a free page. Without an account, a prompt that needs a closer look is blocked.
  • Story books are checked twice by the same Waffo service: your story idea before we write the outline, and the whole outline, with your changes, before we draw any page. We only go ahead if every part passes. If part of it needs a closer look, we ask you to change the wording or try again later, and nothing is charged.
  • A nickname you type yourself is checked by the same Waffo service before we save it, because it shows on your comments. If it doesn’t pass, we ask you to pick another one.
  • A person on our team checks every gallery post and every written comment before anyone else can see it. We delete posts we don’t approve, photo included.
  • Content that is already public goes offline automatically after reports from 3 different signed-in people, until we review it.

Reporting content

  • In the gallery, open a post and tap Report. Every report goes to our review queue, and a person checks it.
  • For anything else, including a page you think breaks these rules or uses your likeness or your work, email [email protected]. Tell us the page link or what you saw.
  • If you believe a child is in danger, contact your local police first.

If you break these rules

  • We remove content that breaks these terms, without notice.
  • Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, suspend your account so it can’t log in or make pages, or close your account. While an account is suspended, its gallery posts are hidden and its plan can be cancelled. Content that puts children at risk always leads to closing the account, with no warning.
  • When we close an account for breaking these rules, its pages, posts, remaining credits and free pages are removed. Credits and plans are not refunded, and active plans are cancelled.
  • We may block the email address, network or email provider used, and you may not sign up again.
  • We report child sexual abuse material and credible threats to the authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and keep the records the law asks us to keep.
  • If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] and a person will look again.

Free pages

Without an account you can make 1 AI page to try it. A free account gets 3 in total, including any page you made in the same browser before signing up. Free pages don’t refill, and deleting your account and signing up again with the same email doesn’t reset them. Story books need credits, but writing and changing an outline is free with an account. Pages made on the Free plan carry a small watermark. We may limit automated or unusually heavy use, including free pages from one network or email provider, to keep the service fair and fast for everyone.

Plans and billing

Plans and credit packs are sold by Waffo, our merchant of record, which takes the payment, handles sales tax and emails your receipts. 1 credit makes 1 AI page, and a page that fails to make doesn’t use one. A story book uses 1 credit per chapter, the cover and its full-color copy are included, and drawing a finished page again uses 1 credit. While you have credits, every AI page uses one and has no watermark. When they run out, any free pages you have left are used. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically. On both, your credits refill every month. On Basic, unused credits don’t roll over. On Plus, credits you don’t use in a month stay for 1 more month, and on Pro for 2 more months. Rolled-over credits are used before newer ones and end when your plan ends. Credit packs last 12 months from purchase and are used after your monthly credits. You can cancel any time in Account → Plan and billing, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account also cancels your plan.

Refunds

If you haven’t used any of the credits, you can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. This applies to plans and credit packs. Email [email protected] to ask for one.

Disclaimer

  • Coloring Parade is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will always work, be error-free, or be available.
  • AI pages are made by a machine. A page may not match your prompt, may contain mistakes, or may look like existing work by chance. Check every page before you print, share or sell it.
  • You are responsible for what you type and upload, and for how you use your pages. For commercial use, make sure your page doesn’t copy someone else’s characters, logos or artwork.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we’ll email you before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your plan or delete your account. If you keep using Coloring Parade after the changes take effect, the new terms apply.
